I've won an architecture award! My Vertical Cemetery for Extinct Species was selected for the Jeff Harnar Award for Unbuilt Architecture. The competition included entries by students, professors and architecture firms from throughout New Mexico and even included an entry by Antoine Predock, who is internationally famous and definitely the most prominent architect in New Mexico. The chair of the jury was flown in from Japan and the rest of the jury were architects and landscape architects from around the country. Who'd a thought!
